Mandy MooreZach Braff and Mandy Moore have reportedly decided to end their relationship.

The couple began dating in 2004 and were rumoured to be engaged but now Us Weekly is claiming that they’ve decided to split because of the nine year age gap between them.

Us Weekly’s Ian Drew revealed: “They both decided that after two years, Mandy was a little young. Zach was ready for something different and they wanted to just kind of test the waters a little bit. It was an amicable break.”

A source told the magazine: “Mandy was very young when they got together and she wanted to see what’s out there, now that she’s a woman. Zach was mature and realized it is time to let her do that.”

Neither star has officially confirmed the split but Zach has been spotted apparently try to chat up Jessica Simpson while Mandy hit out at the tabloid rumours with a comment on her website, saying, “I believe that personal issues [like this one] should be kept private.”
