  • Pete Doherty’s decision to enter rehab in a bid to relaunch his music career with a solo album. Producer Jake Foir has confirmed he’s working on it with Pete and that Pete is determined to stay clean for the duration of the recording: “..but the road to hell is paved with good intentions”.
  • Ronan Keating kept offering Naomi Campbell wine at the Glamour Awards last week, not realising that she’s a recovering alcoholic. Ronan revealed: “I was just trying to be polite. Eventually my wife kicked me and said, ‘She’s in the programme, you daft thing.’”
  • Lisa Kudrow has signed a two-year deal with NBC to develop programme ideas. The Comeback, Lisa’s first sitcom after Friends, was axed after just one season but NBC executive Shelley McCrory doesn’t doubt her potential for success: “[Lisa] is a great performer and producer, and [producer Dan Bucatinsky] is a terrific writer. They are a great team. They are great talent magnets and they are very prolific.”
