  • Owen Wilson considered joining the marines after his first film Bottle Rocket went down badly at early test screenings:
    “The studio said Bottle Rocket was their worst-testing movie in history, so I looked into the marines. Maybe I was influenced by An Officer And A Gentleman. Or those marine commercials - they were so cool! Like a Led Zeppelin song come to life, full of people pulling swords from rocks and fighting lava monsters.”
  • Heidi Klum’s husband Seal has confirmed the couple are expecting their third child: “It gives me great joy to announce that Heidi, Leni, Henry and I are expecting a new addition to our ever increasing family. We all feel both excited and fortunate to be able to share this experience once again.” The couple, who married last May, began dating in 2004 when Heidi was pregnant with her first baby, fathered by Flavio Briatore.
  • Nicole Kidman won’t be joining Heidi in the maternity ward though. Her publicist Catherine Olim has denied the rumours that Nicole is pregnant with fiance Keith Urban’s baby: “this is a rumor that comes around every month. It has for past year or two. Believe me on this one. She is religious, and that would never do.”
