Tom CruiseDespite, or perhaps because of, having a bad relationship with his own dad, Tom Cruise has revealed that he was desperate to become a father himself.

Currently promoting Mission: Impossible III in Japan, Tom revealed: “I always wanted to be a father. I remember my whole life, I wanted to be a father. So I’m hoping maybe I’ll have 10 children.”

Now with two children from his marriage to Nicole Kidman and baby Suri with fiancee Katie Holmes, Tom is almost a third of the way to his goal and described Sunday as “the best Father’s Day”.

He also explained that he and Katie are still making their wedding plans: “We haven’t set a date yet. [But it will be] Soon. It’ll be this year.”
