Gwyneth Paltrow urged Madonna to make up with father

Gwyneth Paltrow urged friend Madonna to reconcile with her father before it was too late.

Madonna had a troubled relationship with her father Tony Ciccone since he remarried after her mother died in the 1960s but on Gwyneth’s urging, Madonna made up with her dad last year.

Ciccone family friend Cheryl Buchhalter has revealed: “Gwyneth had a heartfelt talk with Madonna about her agony over losing her dad Bruce.”

“Gwyn often talks of things she could have done with him, things she would like to have told him. Knowing he is gone forever is something that still crushes her.

“She told Madonna, ‘If you don’t make up with your dad and enjoy the time he’s got left you’ll regret it for the rest of your life.’”.
