Michael DouglasCatherine Zeta-Jones is glad that husband Michael Douglas has finally been able to shave off the beard he grew for his last movie.

“I am so glad it’s finally gone,” she gushed. “For the last three months it’s been like sleeping with the Unabomber.”

The stars were in Cardiff yesterday to officially open the new Children’s Hospital for Wales in the city. The couple helped raise money for the hospital and took the time to visit children already receiving treatment there.

Catherine became visibly emotional while talking to some of the young patients and explained her involvement with the centre: “It’s amazing. I’ve got two healthy children, and coming here to see kids having a rough time puts things in perspective. I wanted to put something back because we are so blessed.”
