EminemEminem is suffering from severe depression after the death of his best friend and collapse of his marriage.

Eminem split from wife Kim in early April, just 82 days after they remarried and then just a few weeks later, Eminem’s D12 bandmate Proof was killed during a shooting at a nightclub.

Eminem’s spokesperson Dennis Dennehy confirmed yesterday that the singer was receiving treatment for depression: “Obviously he’s grieving. He is depressed as anyone would be if they lost someone that close.”

“But Eminem had said he was taking some time off before this happened. This is his downtime.”
