Spice Girls to reunite for charity appearance?

Despite previous denials of a reunion, the Spice Girls may reform for a Children In Need special performance.

As well as raising money for charity, the reunion would coincide with the 10 year anniversary of their single “Wannabe” topping the charts and the release of a new Greatest Hits album and documentary.

A source quoted in the Sunday Mirror said: “It was Emma’s suggestion that they should do this after she appeared on the Who Wants To Be A Millionaire special for Children In Need last year.

“The Spice Girls did loads for charity in their heyday including the Comic Relief single Who Do You Think You Are?

“They wanted to do Live 8 but Mel B had acting commitments in LA and the suggestion was at too short notice.”

However Mel C is still apparently wavering over the appearance: “It’s not something I want to do,” she said.
