  • It’s like Peaches Geldof has been officially inducting into the London party scene now: she got chatted up by Russell Brand in the launch of Jezebel, Jade Jagger’s new nightclub on Friday. Despite a 14 year age gap, Russell and Peaches were seen talking then dancing together and Russell warned off anyone else that tried to approach her. However, it seems like he realised he shouldn’t take things too far with Bob Geldof’s eldest daughter: he told the News of the World, “she seems a lovely girl. We chatted for a while but I thought her dad might not be too pleased.”
  • Gail Porter has plans to ‘marry’ her boyfriend James Lloyd at next year’s Glastonbury festival. Gail is currently divorcing husband Dan Hipgrave but has no doubts that James will be a keeper: “James is amazing and stuck with me though the alopecia. I can’t afford to marry again so we’ll do something different like run around naked and say ‘I love you!’ at Glastonbury.”
  • Madonna and Guy Ritchie are sleeping in separate hotel rooms during Madonna’s current world tour - because Guy likes sleeping in a cool room. An inside source has revealed: “Madge can’t sleep with the air conditioning on because she gets too cold and it dries her throat out, which can lead to a husky voice.”
