Axl RoseAxl Rose was arrested after an apparent attack on a security guard during a drunken brawl in Sweden.

Axl had fronted a Guns N’ Roses gig in Stockholm on Monday night before getting in a fight with an unknown woman back at his hotel. The security guard had tried to break up the fight and was bitten on the leg by Axl in the chaos.

A police spokesperson Towe Hagg confirmed that Rose had been arrested but “was deemed too intoxicated to be questioned right away”. He was placed in the “drunk cell” to sober up before they could talk to him.

Axl later agreed to pay a 40,000 kronor fine (around £3000) and 10,000 kronor (£750) in damaged to the security guard and was released from jail around 7pm on Tuesday evening. No criminal charges were filed against him.
