Britney Spears loves being a young mum
Britney Spears has revealed that it was her intention all along to start a family at a young age.
Speaking to OK magazine, she said: “I always wanted to be a young mum. My mum was a young mum and I’ve looked up to her. I just feel that it’s so important to instil so many good beliefs in your children.”
“I think by being a young mum I’ll have more energy on being able to bring up more positive kids.”
She also discussed how she’s been getting out of the house more this pregnancy and that’s helping her stay in shape: “I stayed in my house a lot during the last pregnancy because there were so many paparazzi outside. I didn’t do anything. For this pregnancy I’ve found more creative ways to get out side.”
“I take at least three 30 minute walks each day and chase my son around I get pre-natal massages and my arms are getting toned by picking Sean Preston all the time.”

Ya know, being a young mum is fine and all, but it’s not the only way. I started my family at 34 and now I have three lil beauties and I am three times the mom I would have been at 23. And yes, I have plenty of energy: I exercise, eat well, take care of myself. I did all I wanted before my kids and so I don’t feel deprived when they are really demanding and leave me little time for myself. Age also doesn’t determine the quality of the values you pass on. Whatever age you choose to begin should depend on when you’re ready, not on some arbitrary assumptions like older parents dont’ have any energy. The older parents you see who seem not to have energy are tired not because they are older but because they have kids LOL. I don’t believe younger parents are necessarily immature either. I believe both beliefs are useless and baseless stereotypes. I only sometimes wish I had started younger so I could have more.
