Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt to adopt older child, rather than baby?

Angelina Jolie with daughters Zahara and Shiloh Us Weekly is claiming that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are planning to adopt an older child rather than another baby.

The magazine is quoting a source as saying, they plan to “adopt an [older] child to support the idea that people should adopt more children, not just babies”.

The magazine didn’t include any further details on when or where the adoption might take place: Angelina recently revealed they will consider the balance of their family when making their future adoption decisions.

I was wondering if (wherever they would be adopting another child) if that child would be required to speak English or if they would except an none English speaking child and have a teacher help learn the language? Weird question I know but I was think about the culture difference between an older orphaned child to Angelina and Brad’s family. A lot of the time an older adopted child will bring a lot of bagage with them especial if it is refugee who has experienced a lot of hard times in their short life.

I commend them if this story is true. Everyone goes for the newborns and the babies but they overlook the older children. How many celebs have you seen lately that adopt an older child. Every child needs love qnd a home regardless of age.

That’s an interesting thought! If they adopt an older boy, to balance the family and make Mad a brother of a brother too…someone to play with…what if that boy speaks another language? Will they go bilingual, trilingual, quadrilingual? Gosh! The possibilities are endless….

I’m not sure about the language deal—but I also commend them for adopting a five year old, not a newborn. Although there are many newborns that need adopting, poeple don’t realize how many older children need to be adopted also—and its not so bad that his parents are going to be angie and brad!!!

can she please find someone to comb Zahara’s hair???? Poor Zahara!!!! Her mother hates her father. What goes around comes back around….
