Keira Knightley worries people will hate her Atonement character
Keira Knightley is worried that people will dislike her character in her new film Atonement because she starts out being mean.
Keira is playing Cecila in the film, based on the book by Ian McEwan and said: “she’s a b*tch.
“She starts out very catty, acerbic, almost Bette Davis-esque - very sharp. But she grows into something quite different. It’s a nice journey.”
“We did one scene and [director Joe Wright] and I looked at each other and I said, ‘Oh my God, people are going to hate me,’ but she won’t be like that the whole way through.”

people won’t hate the character, they’ll just be amazed she hasn’t snapped in half like a dry dry twig yet.
