Paul O’Grady leaves hospital after heart attack
Paul O’Grady left hospital yesterday after a heart attack and emergency surgery - a repeat of events of four years ago.
Paul was rushed to William Harvey Hospital in Kent on Friday after recognising the chest pain and had surgery to unblock an artery.
Leaving hopsital yesterday, he said: “I’m so happy to get out of hospital but I feel like death. I told you I’d be back though.”
He also pledged: “I’m definitely going to give up smoking this time.”
The heavy smoker gave up his habit for two years after his first heart attack in 2002.

I’m glad you’re feeling better Paul but please give up smoking this time! You don’t want it to happen again, do you?
