  • Russell Crowe and wife Danielle Spencer welcomed their second child into the world last Friday. Tennyson Spencer Crowe was born in Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney and weighed 8lb on arrival. Russell’s representative confirmed: “Mother, father and baby are doing extremely well”. The couple already have a two year old son together, Charles.
  • Antonio Banderas and Melanie Griffith’s neighbours called the police the other day when they heard “unearthly screams” coming from the stars’ Malibu home. The police dutifully showed up only to be calmly told by Melanie: “Oh, that’s just Antonio yelling for Spain in the World Cup.” Antonio’s home team lost to France in the quarter-finals earlier this week.
  • R&B star Lemar is still denying that there is anything going on between him and Joss Stone, despite recent reports of them spending a lot of time together on a yacht in the Caribbean. He said: “Joss is really lovely but, honestly, we’re not dating. I went to Barbados to record with her. I’m still with my woman so there’s nothing going on.”
