Girls AloudThe News of the World is reporting that Girls Aloud are set to split up after numerous fights between the girls. But they’ll only break up next year after releasing their Greatest Hits album in the autumn this year.

A source close to the band revealed: “They just don’t talk at all - it’s over for them. There’s always been a rift in the band.”

“[Nadine Coyle] and [Cheryl Tweedy] don’t talk, there is no communication. There’s also a rift between [Sarah Harding] and the others.”

“Nadine has been saying that Cheryl thinks she’s Victoria Beckham, especially after hanging around with Posh during the World Cup.”

“And the other girls reckon Cheryl feels that she’s above them — they don’t think her heart is in the band any more.”

“They will split next year. They’ve decided to go their separate ways because things have got so bad between them. They keep trying to outdo each other and it’s got ridiculous.”

Sarah is apparently keen to work on “grittier music” and Nadine is already reportedly working on solo material at a recording studio in Los Angeles, close to boyfriend Jesse Metcalfe. A source told The People: “she wants to split her time between the UK and US so it makes sense for her to do some work over there.”
