Mischa Barton, keen to leave The OC behind
Mischa Barton is having to work hard to distance herself from Marissa, her former character in The OC.
Mischa is keen to move into more serious acting roles but has found the ghost of Marissa is haunting her: “People assume I’m from Orange County. Marissa hasn’t seen much outside her bubble, but I like people to discern that I’m an English-Irish girl who grew up in New York and moved around a lot with her dad’s job.”
Mischa is set to take an acting course with RADA (Royal Academy for the Dramatic Arts) in London this summer.

i like the oc very much its 1 of my favourite show’s i like the mane star’s in it but i don’t like marissa’s new boyfriend .i think that her & ryan should stay together for ever cause they made i good couple . i think they should make a serious out of it.& i like seth sometimes can be little bit funny but he loves his comic’s .

I too pine for Marissa Cooper. I weep for the O.C. and it’s cast. I also weep for the youth, as it seems the majority of people on this comment board have the typing skills of a labotomized ape on acid. Congratulations,you have disproven the theory of evolution.
