Penny LancasterPenny Lancaster has confessed to crying every day for the first three weeks of her eight-month-old son Alastair’s life.

She said: “Sleep deprivation and hormones meant little things like seeing [fiance Rod Stewart] cuddling Alastair would set me off crying.”

“I remember writing in my diary after three weeks ‘Today I didn’t cry’.”

She’s also revealed that she gained weight from breast feeding, going up from a size 10 to a “large 12″ but she has no intention of rushing to lose the extra weight: “What’s more important, getting slim or feeding Alistair?’ It’s no contest.”
