Jennifer Aniston: I miss Friends and would do a reunion show
Jennifer Aniston has revealed that she would happily reprise her role as Rachel Green to do a Friends reunion show.
Speaking to Richard and Judy on their Channel 4 chatshow, she revealed she “does miss it” but if they were to reunite, it would only be a one-off show: “The only thing I can think of doing is a Thanksgiving episode.
“Our Thanksgiving episodes were really fun.”
Lisa Kudrow, who played Phoebe on the series, admitted earlier this year that “one of the guys” had called a halt to reunion plans.

The trade mag Entertainment TV is reporting that native New Yorker Woody Allen has been seriously considering a $5,500,000 offer to write and direct the two hour Friends Thanksgiving reunion special. It would mark a rare return to television comey for the indie filmmaker. But sources insist that he could use the quick cash infusion, given wife SoonY’s spending habits, and some bad tax write-off investments he made in cattle.
Initially, the project was stalled because one or two of the male cast members had passed on any reunion idea, leaving their schedule commitments completely full for this fall.
However, Mr Allen jumped on the casting idea involving a partial reunion with Friends’ three female characters and Matt Perry; all of them now very successfull, and living together in a townhouse on the east side. Kind of like that ‘Moving on Up’ sitcom meets Bill Cosby in HBO’s Big Love.
Network executives hope to cement the deal right after Allen finishes his latest “Assignment Royale” film project, currently shooting around London with Miami Vice star Colin Farrell. If the Match Point director backs out, they may go with a ‘plan B’ idea involving Mulholland Drive director David Lynch. Wherein the Friends cast are all now New Orleans refugees living in Palestine, Texas; working at a Wal*Mart store, like in Jennifer Aniston’s highly acclaimed indie film The Good Girl; and dreaming of returning to New York someday.
