Kylie Minogue reveals IVF treatments and radical ovary surgery

Kylie Minogue has revealed that she’s undergone revolutionary new surgery on her ovaries to increase the chances of her being able to have children after her recovery from breast cancer.

In her interview with Cat Deeley, which was broadcast on Sky One last night, Kylie described how “slivers of her ovaries” have been frozen to be reimplanted over the next two years with the hope that they will later release eggs.

She also admitted that she has already undergone two rounds of IVF treatments in order to conceive a baby with partner Olivier Martinez and she was “completely distraught” when the attempts were unsuccessful.

Kylie also spoke highly of Olivier, describing him as a “huge support system”: “He is amazing but he was particularly amazing throughout this last year. We would love some children - we have to see.”
