Mickey RourkeMickey Rourke has revealed he’s been in therapy for the last nine years.

He started going when his career hit a slump in the late 1980s-early 1990s but despite a recent comeback with the likes of Sin City and Spun, he’s still attending sessions.

He revealed: “I thought I’d be in therapy for six months, but nine years later, I’m still at it. I thought I’d only need a short time to change, but here I am still going once a week.”

“When I lost my career, my wife, my house, I used to go up to three times a week for about five years, because I had nothing else to do.”
