  • Cheryl Tweedy and Ashley Cole have departed for a luxury honeymoon in the Seychelles. The break is rumoured to be costing in excess of £40,000 since, according to a source quoted in the Mirror: “They’ll have a beachfront villa with butler service and spa treatments on tap. They won’t have to leave their room for anything.” Girls Aloud’s Cheryl married England football star Ashley on Friday followed by a lavish reception for friends and family on Saturday.
  • At the other end of the marriage path, Carmen Electra and Dave Navarro have decided to “amicably separate” after a marriage of two and a half years. The couple’s wedding was documented on MTV reality series Til Death Do Us Part: Carmen + Dave but has rumoured to be in difficulty for a number of months with Carmen insisting: “We’re fine! I’m not saying we have the perfect marriage or that we’re the perfect couple, but we’re pretty damn good”.
  • Black Eyed Peas singer Fergie is sick of constantly reading that she’s pregnant in magazines: “When [magazines] are saying you’re pregnant every week, you kind of wonder, ‘Do I look fat?’. It hurts my feelings. It’s one of my dreams to have babies, and I feel like these rumours will make it less special when it actually happens. My poor grandma is calling me every week to congratulate me! I will issue a big press statement when it happens”.
