Lindsay LohanLindsay Lohan’s mum Dina has defended her daughter after Lindsay was sent a scolding letter by the producers of her new film Georgia Rule.

The letter from studio head James G Robinson called Lindsay a “spoilt child” and accused her claims of exhaustion as being “bogus”.

Dina has rebuked those suggestions with praise for her daughter: “On the set, it was 105 degrees. And she has bronchial asthma. So any extreme heat or cold, she can’t breathe…”

“I don’t know [James G Robinson]. I can’t judge him. I don’t think it was a smart thing to do to a young girl. I’m a mother and will do what I need to do to protect my child. … She’s a human being. There was one day when she was late, and they (director Garry Marshall and costar Jane Fonda) worked the schedule around her. Garry, Jane, everybody loves her.”

“My daughter is a wonderful child. She will win an Academy Award for this picture.”

Despite her telling off for her partying lifestyle on Friday, Lindsay was spotted out and about as usual over the weekend. She partied at the new Hollywood nightclub Les Deux on Friday night, seen hugging and talking to friends in the club’s parking lot, and then she flew to Las Vegas on Saturday with boyfriend Harry Morton.
