  • Scarlett Johansson’s decided to take a well earned holiday after filming four movies in a row. She told the New York Post: “I’ve been working nonstop. And I think it’s time I treated myself to a little vacation. What I’m planning to do is go with a couple of my girlfriends to the Caribbean. I have decided I definitely need the Caribbean. I have a decent break right now. About six weeks because I don’t start again until September. That’s when we begin shooting The Other Boleyn Girl.”
  • Johnny Depp is to duet with the likes of Bono and Bryan Ferry for the soundtrack for the next Pirates of the Caribbean movie. Johnny will collaborate with the stars to create an album of sea shanties.
     
  • Madonna has revealed that she’s donated at least $3million to help orphans in Malawi. The money will be spent on building a home and school for the children as well as helping provide ongoing food for them. She told Time magazine that it was “a privilege” to be involved with the project: “[it’s] the ultimate gift of being famous, or a byproduct… I know that, yeah, this is why I am famous.”
