Gwyneth Paltrow with baby son MosesGwyneth Paltrow has revealed to friends that it’s not been all sunshine and joy since the birth of her son Moses in April.

For a start, Gwyneth and husband Chris Martin’s first child, daughter Apple, has not taken well to the arrival of her baby brother. Gwyneth was overheard telling friends that Apple is jealous of her younger sibling: “She’s fine but suddenly there’s another baby and everyone is talking about him and looking at him and she doesn’t really understand why.”

Gwyneth also added that she “didn’t think” she’d be having any more children: “It is such a lot of work. And I’ve been breastfeeding, which has been causing me problems. My breasts feel so sore.”

And if the reality of motherhood wasn’t enough, Gwyneth revealed to the friends that she was considering having cosmetic surgery to polish up her figure because she’s had problems losing her pregnancy weight this time around. She told the group: “My stomach is rippling, my breasts don’t feel good. I’ve been trying to work out. I want to do something about it.”

The friends, who were lunching with Paltrow at a north London pub, were understanding and suggested Gwyneth travel to New York for the operation so she wouldn’t be spotted going into hospital in her new hometown of London.
