  • Robin Williams admitted himself into a rehab clinic in Oregon last month to try to beat his addiction to alcohol. The comedian/actor had been sober for 20 years after the death of partying friend John Belushi but according to his spokesperson: “He found himself drinking again and decided to take measures to deal with this for his own well-being and the well-being of his family. He asks that you respect his and his family’s privacy during this time. He looks forward to returning to work this fall to support his upcoming film releases.”
  • Not content with just plain, simple cards, Chantelle Houghton and the Ordinary Boy’s Preston have apparently decided to include a pastel picture of themselves on their wedding invitations. Leaving things somewhat to the last minute, the pair are set to send out the invites next week for the wedding on the 25th of this month.
  • Ben Affleck and Matt Damon got to hold their first long-awaited play date for their two new daughters recently. The friends met up near where they grew up in Cambridge, Massachusetts and Ben revealed eight-month-old Violet Affleck met two-month-old Isabella Damon for the first time: “I don’t know how much they know that they did meet but they are really close in age - closer than Matt and I are. So it was nice”.
