Kate Hudson and Chris RobinsonKate Hudson and husband Chris Robinson have announced their separation.

The couple married in 2000 and have a two year old son together.

Both had been outspoken about the nature of their marriage, with Kate saying that it isn’t a perfect fairytale and Chris admitting they bicker about the usual stuff: “about the inlaws, or who should take out the trash, or the groupies I have sex with”.

Kate’s spokesperson Brad Cafarelli confirmed the split but didn’t give a specific reason for the decision.
