Christina Aguilera surprised that she married so young

Christina Aguilera doesn’t have any regrets about spending $2m on her wedding to music executive Jordan Bratman - but she does admit it was a bit excessive.

Christina wore a lavish Christian Lacroix gown and the event was accessorised with crystal chandeliers and glitter-covered flowers.

She recently told Allure: “OK, it was somewhat over the top but I’m not one to look at the cost of everything!”

She was surprised though, that she was getting married at all: “I was never one of those girls who couldn’t wait to be married, who couldn’t wait for the white dress.”

“That was so not me. I always felt my career was first. Nothing was going to distract me. That’s another reason I just never thought I’d be married at 25.”
