Jessica Simpson fires agent after argument with father

Jessica Simpson has fired her agent Brandt Joel because Brandt had a disagreement with her father and manager, Joe Simpson.

A source told Us Weekly: “Brandt got into a huge fight with Joe Simpson.”

“Joe is constantly trying to butt in and he doesn’t know what the hell he is doing. Jessica took her father’s side and fired him.”

Jessica has now being represented by Rick Nicita, of the same Hollywood agency, Caa.

joe simpson is a big problem. he think he knows everything. if jess keep letting her dad run her life she will one day be a lonely lady. i wish joe simpson disappear. i do not like him , he is yukie@!!!!!!!!!!

is turely creepy when it comes to jessica he seems to have a strange obsession with her life it’s like more like a boyfriend than a father and yes he knows nothing about this buissness .. for god sake let her breath

Jessica needs to stand up to her father. This is HER show, not his. Perhaps if she’d listen to her heart and her own mind, she’d be a lot further ahead (i.e. not divorced from Nick)

I think jessica is a fighter & i like that about her, because she needs to be strong & have faith that she’ll do good to stand up straight about the situation.

I have Faith in you, Jessica & i know you can do it with your heart.
