Janet Jackson has tattoo to remember supportive friend

Janet Jackson had help from a “cowboy” during the troubled period of her life - and has had a tattoo to remember his help.

Current boyfriend Jermaine Dupri help Janet battled depression but Janet also gives credit to the unnamed friend who helped her before she met Jermaine.

She said recently: “Jermaine has played a big part in recent years and he still helps me a great deal.”

“But one of the biggest people, and I will never give his name, was someone that I met back then. I could easily have taken a darker path to the one I chose. That’s why I have this tattoo to remind me of that period of my life.”

“It was this cowboy who helped me through it all. We became very close. We still talk.”
