Maggie Gyllenhaal: “not sexy enough” criticism is hard to hear
Maggie Gyllenhaal was hurt by early critics who said she wasn’t good looking enough to be an actress.
After a few small roles during her teenage years, Maggie trained at Columbia University but when she began auditioning for more grown up roles in 1999, she found it hard to get a break.
She revealed recently: “There was a long time of not getting anything, or even coming close, and lots of feedback like: ‘You’re not beautiful or sexy enough’.”
“I was tough on the outside, saying: ‘You must have a boring idea of what beautiful and sexy is’.”
“But on the inside, that’s a hard thing to hear.”

Not sexy enough? I cant think of a more beautiful actress today with her charisma and unusual persona. I never seen anyone quite like Maggie before. I first saw her in water world and fell in love already. then donnie darko, and then the most erotic cinema experience i ever had was her in the secretary. Much more than tango in Paris. so if peter doesnt know how lucky he is to have such an unusual beauty by his side, he’d beter get a lombatomy. she is the most graceful and sexiest woman in film today. i know this because i work with all the big actress’ as an art director-cinematographer. and i have never had the grace from god to work with her. maybe one day, and i will most definately give her fiance a large run for his money, being i am a literature grad and have alot in common with her.try me. ill take on any man. i just sit and wait for the woman to come to me. and it always works. its not over convidence its just the new dawn of modern femminism at its work in my favour.
unexplainable love to you ms. Maggie Gyllehhaal

Alright hot shot…
Clearly it has been established that she is quite ‘sexy’, otherwise, they wouldn’t continue to give her such provocative roles. e.g. Mona Lisa (as the older more sexually experienced student) and she never would have been cast in the aforementioned Secretary.
Oh and one more thing….as a fellow scorpion we like it freaky sneaky and Peter looks like he flies a big ole freak flag. Sooooooo, while I’m sure that Ms. Maggie enjoys the occasional literary discourse, I know she’s enjoying the subtle twisted kink of whatever crumbs of intrigue he lays before her to keep her coming back for more.
I find it interesting that you would think that he would leave her first, you wouldn’t. (perhaps wishful thinking) Clearly the intrinsic sensuality that she possesses has drawn him in just as you have…been drawn in. I do believe that he is trapped
as you are…
trapped
in your fantasy……it happens.
Better luck next time.

She isn’t stunning. But she is smart and not afraid to be herself. That’s sexy!

Maggie is absolutely stunningly gorgeous-any detractors past or present are obviously unaware of true beauty.Everything about her is beautiful, her hair, skin, eyes, face mouth, figure. She is a true natural beauty. No questions.
If an image of a beautiful woman were needed for a time capsule then it should be an image of Maggie.
She has so much more than the artificially manufactured “beauties” that Hollywood assumes people want to see.
