Owen WilsonOwen Wilson deftly avoided questions about his rumoured relationship with co-star Kate Hudson had last night’s UK premiere of You, Me and Dupree.

Kate was missing from the premiere and when reporters asked Owen about Kate and her recent marriage split, he just replied “I assume she’s in California … I think she’s doing fine, yeah.”

Michael Douglas, who plays Kate’s father in the film, couldn’t add anything about Owen and Kate’s relationship either. He said: “I’ve been out of the country for a year, so I don’t know about that part at all. I just know that Kate has split up with her husband, which is very sad.”

Of Kate’s marriage in particular, he added: “Chris Robinson is a great guy and she is and I wish them well. They’ve got a young child and they’ll do the best they can.”
