Britney SpearsA poster advertising Britney Spears‘ Harper’s Bazaar photo shoot has been deemed “too stimulating” by Tokyo’s subway bosses.

The photos appeared in the August edition of the magazine in the US but will only be in the October edition in Japan and a large advertising campaign had been planned.

But now Tokyo Metro bosses have vetoed the original poster. A spokesperson said: “We thought some of our customers would find it to be overly stimulating”.

The poster will now be censored, covered up from below Britney’s elbow, with a statement reading: “We apologize for hiding part of a beautiful image of a mother-to-be”.
