Bruce Springsteen rumoured to have left wife of 20 years

Rumours are circulating that Bruce Springsteen has left his wife of 20 years, Patti Scialfa, for a woman he met while organising the September 11th fundraiser, America: A Tribute to Heroes.

A source told the New York Post: “They’re separated, but everyone has been sworn to secrecy. We’re not supposed to talk about it.”

Springsteen had been spotted with the mystery woman, believed to have been widowed during the September 11th attacks, near his New Jersey home but his mother in law, Scialfa’s mother Victoria refused to comment about the possible split or Bruce’s relationship with the other woman. She told the newspaper: “I don’t know anything about it; I don’t want to talk about it.”
