Jessica Simpson confirms she’s dating John Mayer
Jessica Simpson has reportedly confirmed that she is dating fellow singer John Mayer - her first relationship since her divorce from husband Nick Lachey earlier this year.
According to reports in Us Weekly, Jessica told the magazine that their relationship was “great” but that she wanted to “keep it private”.
Another source close to the pair added: “[Jessica]’s tiptoeing back into the dating world. It’s the first stage. She’s never been happier.”

This is a stunt. Her tipsters have been working overtime spreading these rumors. I’m sure the webmasters of this site got a tip from someone who claims to have “worked with Jessica for months”. They’re just trying to promote her album. Publicists like this really annoy me, because while they’re trying to help their clients, all they’re doing is hurting them, because the stars just end up losing credibility in the eyes of the webmasters.
