Jessica Simpson and John MayerJohn Mayer - and Jessica Simpson’s over-eager fans overloaded John’s website on Thursday after trying to view a mysterious message on his blog.

News that the two were dating broke on Tuesday with Jessica reportedly “never been happier” with her new boyfriend.

But on Thursday morning, John posted a message to his personal blog saying “I’m really enjoying this song” and posted a picture of the cover of the Public Enemy single “Don’t Believe The Hype”.

Perhaps John is worried about being married off so early in his relationship with Jessica. A friend of his told Us Weekly: “They’ve only gotten together a handful of times over the last few weeks.”

A source close to Jessica confirmed that the couple have “made out” but that’s as far as it’s gone.
