Ethan Hawke: life’s a lot quieter without Uma Thurman

Ethan Hawke has noted he gets a whole lot less paparazzi attention now he is no longer married to Uma Thurman.

The couple split in July 2004 after six years of marriage and Ethan said recently: “one of the nice things about no longer being married to a movie star is that it quietens down a lot.”

But that’s not to say he’s complaining about the attention the pair got when they were together: “I never meant to complain about the photographers - if the paparazzi are bothering you, it probably means you are having a wonderful life.”
