Orlando Bloom mocks Johnny Depp in Extras skit

Orlando Bloom has filmed an episode of Extras in which he mocks Pirates of the Caribbean co-star Johnny Depp.

Orlando plays an ultra vain actor in an episode of the comedy series who claims he was the heartthrob on the Pirates set.

His character claims: “It’s my looks that all the girls fawn over. Nobody was bothered about Johnny on set.”

“Johnny freak, I make art-house movies and have stupid scissors for hands. Willy Wonka? more like Johnny W***er.”

The second series of the show starts on BBC2 later next week.

In real life, Bloom doesn’t begrudge his “Pirates of the Caribbean” co-stars their success, even now that both Depp and Keira Knightley have Oscar nominations under their belts. Does Bloom feel the pressure to get a nod for his acting as well?

I would also like to add that Johnny and Orlando aren’t running a contest…they both seem to just enjoy making movies, and enjoy the company of everyone! They always have really great things to say about eachother! They’re both equally cool people with unique ways! Neither one ever comes across as thinking they are “all it”…

There’s no need to get worked up about it, it’s a joke and im sure Johnny knows all about it. The whole idea of the show is that the actors play an over the top version of themselves, which often means them being deliberately vain or obnoxious. You should watch it, it’s really funny. p.s. We all know Johnny’s the best. oh, and Ricky is a legend!
