Photos of Suri Cruise appear on the cover of Vanity Fair

Suri Cruise, flanked by proud mum and dad Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes, has made her media debut on the cover of Vanity Fair.

The October issue of the magazine hit the newsstands this morning and as well as a cover shot, there are 22 pages of photos and interview inside.

But Mum and Dad can’t decide who she looks like. Tom says Suri has “Kate’s lips and eyes” while Katie thinks she’s “more like Tom”.

The couple also revealed that their first date was a year to the day before Suri was born on 18 April but conspiracy theorists shouldn’t read anything into that or the fact they waited until Suri was four months old before showing her off to the world: the couple insists they “were always going to release a photo” and “we weren’t trying to hide anything”.
