Russell Brand and Rod Stewart at the GQ Awards 2006Russell Brand got a telling off from an angry father at the GQ Awards earlier this week after he made a joke about pulling Rod Stewart’s daughter, Kimberly.

Russell dedicated his “Most Stylish Man of the Year” award acceptance speech to Rod, saying: “Here’s to Rod Stewart, who had a go at me earlier this year for too much womanising. But I did have a go on his daughter.”

Rod confronted Russell later, angrily asking, “you went with my daughter, did you? Russell, stand up.”

Naughty boy Russell admitted to taking her out on evening and when Rod asked if he behaved himself, Russell replied “I never touched that girl.”

Rod then hit back with: “F****** right you didn’t. You mustn’t come up here and boast. I speak as a father.”

Russell and Kimberley were spotted together at the Cuckoo Club in London in June then heading back to Russell’s apartment in the early hours.
