Denise Van OutenDenise van Outen has revealed she loves living in Los Angeles because the dating scene is freer than in the UK.

She told the Sun recently: “You are allowed to go on as many dates with different people as you want.”

“Until you sit down and have a conversation that goes ‘are we girlfriend and boyfriend yet?’, you can carry on seeing loads of men.”

“In a way it’s quite nice because it means you don’t have any pressure or have to answer any questions.”

But that’s not to say it’s problem-free: she once double-booked herself with two men on the same night.

“Both of them were waiting for me in the [hotel] lobby so I had to make a quick decision.”

“I told Date No2 I was out with my girlfriend and had to hide in my room for a while then sneak out to check that his car had gone.”
