All Saints comeback video completely relocated after first class was full
The music video for All Saints’ comeback track ‘Rock Steady’ had to be completely relocated and rescripted when the band found out they couldn’t sit together on the flight out to the original location of Cuba.
The 90s girl group, Melanie Blatt, Shaznay Lewis, and sisters Nicole and Natalie Appleton, are set to release their first single and album in five years in November but after the video’s production team spent weeks planning the shoot in Cuba but the girls refused to go when they found out that they couldn’t all fit into first class.
A source told the Sun: “Weeks of planning went into doing the shoot in Cuba. Producers had booked flights for all the staff, hired equipment and arranged locations. But the girls weren’t able to sit in first class on the same flight.”
“They either had to go [on separate flights] or sit in economy — which was seen as completely unacceptable.”
The video shoot then had to be relocated to Bucharest in Romania at the last minute and sees the girls playing leather-clad bank robbers using “cunning, couture and whips” instead of guns: “It will look like Sin City meets The Thomas Crown Affair. The girls will be very sexy.”
Do you think Katie Price's marriage to Alex Reid will last?
