• Avril Lavigne is finding it harder than she thought to get into acting but it’s not her fault. The pop star turned actress complained recently: “I’ve been reading scripts for a year and they’re all crap, they all suck. I’m going to be really picky and wait for something amazing.”
  • It looks like Bob Geldof is really starting to clamp down on 17 year old daughter Peaches Geldof’s social life. After reportedly banning her from DJing at late night events, he’s also reported stopped her from seeing Towers of London singer Donny Tourette after the pair met at the Reading Festival last month. A source revealed: “Peaches has now been told to break off all contact with Donny.”
  • Sophie Anderton has revealed she’s been diagnosed with bipolar disorder, otherwise known as manic-depression. The former model turned reality tv star has blamed the illness for her mood swings during her recent appearance on Love Island: “I went on Love Island thinking I was headstrong but it turned out I was quite emotional.” She has now been prescribed “mood stabilising” medication.
