Michael Moore: stop picking on Tom Cruise
Michael Moore has said he thinks people should lay off Tom Cruise - because at the end of the day he’s just an actor.
Speaking at the Toronto launch of his new documentary, Sicko, about the US health insurance business, Moore said: “It’s time to stop picking on Tom Cruise.”
“What is his crime? Jumping on a couch? Actors are supposed to different. They’re not accountants.”
“His religion is own damn business, no matter what planet it’s from. He’s not firing rockets into Iraq.”

Here, here, Michael!
It’s nice to hear a voice of reason amongst the sea of media whores and mindless dolts who believe everything they see on the Web and their TV. I’m glad there are still a few like you who can still think for themselves instead of regurgitating all the blather.

Dear John Galt, I also agree with Michael Moore. I am sick and tired of listening to people who have been brainwashed by media lies attack Tom Cruise because of stupid reasons. He is a very good man and I find his movies very entertaining. As you can see not everybody is a Scientologist, not everybody is disrespectful and not everybody buys all the sh*t around. There is still a lot of people in the world who admire Tom Cruise. I am one of them!

Hey, Michael Moore,
As soon as Tom Cruise realizes that he’s “JUST AN ACTOR” the better off we will all be!!!

I believe that Michael Moore said He’s an actor not an accountant. Not he’s JUST an actor. Don’t belittle actors. All artists help to bring fun to our humdrum lives. And they look good. Has that person Lynn ever heard of projection. She is the one who seems angry, bitter, and ignorant. Maybe she’s an accountant on Prozac. Try to cheer up. S.

Hi, Lynn!
Hope you’re having a lovely day!
The obsessed few who rant about Scientology can usually be identified by their use of epithets–like calling Scientologists “Scios.”
If anti-Scientologists were courageous enough to direct their inner hates toward the Jewish or African-Americans, what epithets would you call those minorities?
Go punch your pillow. Ann Landers recommends it as therapeutic.
Much love!
H-W

You know as well as I whether we like it or not, if one is an entertainer, he or she must be very careful with what is said or done in the lime light. Call it closed minded or hateful or judgemental YOU choose. Tom Cruise is now a LOSER and no longer “In” with the public eye. As you are telling me to keep my opinions to myself, I would say you are judgemental too! Simple minds thing alike eh?

I agree with Michael Moore here. Tom Cruise has done two things that could be considered “crazy”: jumping on couches and disagreeing with Lauder. The couch thing: he’s in love! Has no one seriously ever been crazy for a girl (or guy) and done crazy things out of excitement? As for the Lauder thing: Matt Lauder asked Cruise about his opinions, that’s what he got.
Thank you Michael Moore for speaking up! I hope your voice echos.

Hollywood Planet is reporting that Michael Moore, flush with F911 cash, is actually a secret partner in the new Tom Cruise deal with Washington, DC Redskins owner Dan Snyder. According to a studio insider close to Cruise’s former boss, Mr Redstone, the situation makes perfect sense because all three parties have a rather redish track record in the DC political field. Cruise being a big Hilary Clinton supporter and all that.
At FedEx Field monday night, Tom Cruise was overheard talking to Mr Moore on his cell phone, giving his silent partner play-by-play reports on the Minnesota Vikings game, as it came down to the final minutes tied at 16-16.
Few people are aware that the close Cruise Moore connection goes all the way back into the 80s. When they met while Moore was doing an expose on the late L Ron Hubbard, entitled Ron & Me, [He died, or was translated, in 86.]
Eventually, Cruise persuaded the budding director to join him in his new quest for si-fi inspired self-improvement. Later, Moore dropped his original project, and converted much of his existing footage into the 1989 indie film hit, Roger and Me. Which was about the director’s tireless efforts to locate some big automobile CEO and attach him to a portable Scientology lie-detector; made to look like a sound recorder.

Michael Moore knows what’s going on. I think he probably read this article: ‘The truth behind Tom Cruise’: http://www.associatedcontent.com/article/60861/the_truth_behind_tom_cruise.html
Look at this, you will suddendly realize why “so many” people are picking on Tom Cruise and who is actually responsible for all this!
Warm Regards,
Robert

Wow. What an idiot!
No one who has done any research cares about couch jumping or anything the tabloids say.
Most critics of Scientology are only annoyed at the human rights abuses they’re responsible for, coerced abortions of Sea Org members, stalking, threatening and murdering of critics, disconnection of family members etc. etc. Tom Cruise wants to “clear” (convert or destroy) the planet of non-Scienos. He is completely against psychiatry and psychology in an extremist way. He honestly thinks Scientologists are the only ones who can help at a traffic accident. This is dangerous talk. NO ONE CARES THAT HE JUMPED ON A COUCH.
All of the court records and testimonies of ex-scientologists are out there if you do a simple Google search: Operation Snow White, Freakout, Lisa McPherson, Jason Beghe interview, exscientologykids.
Michael Moore is a complete and utter ignoramus.

So, Michael Moore commanded everyone to lay off Tom Cruise, since “His religion is own damn business…. He’s not firing rockets into Iraq.”
So it’s OK for Tom Cruise to market a dangerous and damaging cult that seeks make a profit through the destruction of families, since Tom Cruise is not like an US soldier in Iraq????
Michael Moore thinks he is entitled to turn off the reasoning facilities of individuals just by evoking “Iraq” on every issue– no matter now vile his position.

WTF? There is absolute and complete agreement on what the COS is, a cult that destroys families for a profit. The only entity that denies specific claims is the COS itself. To be on Tom Cruises side here, you would have to conclude that everyone in the world is a liar except for COS spokespeople. A very small amount of googling reveals the sad fact that our politicians and journalists have failed us regarding the COS. They simply KILL, DESTROY, and brainwash.
I think MM is a closet elitist. He doesn’t mind if the COS destroys peoples lives, because it won’t be his. He would rather worship at a celebrity’s altar, at all of our expense.
Oh yea, the above poster was obviously in the COS, since anyone who can google would know otherwise.
