Britney Spears has given birth to a second son, almost a year to the day after having her first child, Sean.

Husband Kevin Federline took Britney to the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles on Monday (11th) evening, checking in under an assumed name (Pebbles) and their second son together was born by Caesarian just after 2am on Tuesday 12th.

The new baby weighed in a 6lbs 11oz and was 19inches long.

Some reports are suggesting that it was an all-girl affair in the birthing suite, with only Britney’s mum Lynn and sister Jamie Lynn present but others are suggested Kevin was there too. A source added: “None of Kevin’s family were there - Kevin sent a text message to all the Federline family members to let them know he was a dad again.”

Rumours has circulated that Britney was expecting a daughter but according to reports now, she always knew she was having a boy.

With this new birthday to celebrate, Britney and Kevin will always have busy Septembers: their first son, Sean, was born on 14th September last year and the couple married on 18th September the year before that.
