Whitney Houston files for divorce
Whitney Houston’s publicist Nancy Seltzer has revealed the singer has filed for divorce from husband Bobby Brown.
The couple married in the summer of 1992 but have been subject to rumours of a split for a number of years, after claims of drug abuse by both parties and with Bobby accused of spousal abuse in 1998 after Whitney was spotted with a cut on her face.
Seltzer refused to reveal where or when the divorce papers were filed or elaborate with a statement from Whitney herself, just teling the Associated Press: “I can just confirm that she has filed for divorce.”
The couple have a daughter together, 13 year old Bobbi Kristina.
UPDATE: TMZ is reporting that Whitney filed the separation papers last Friday (8th) at Orange County Superior Court and that the official divorce papers will be filed next month.

aww, shame, i thought with their matching drug habits that they were made for each other - just like kate moss and pete doherty.
some couple have matching jumpers - those guys all go for matching tourniquet and syringe sets.

i feel so sorry and i hope she move on with her life, and finds some one how is going to love her and bring her on to the right tracks.
she is the best singer in the world and i wish she would go back to the top and show wot she can do …..
