Christina Ricci has self-image revelation after pig-nose film
Christina Ricci’s new movie Penelope has finally helped her accept her figure and not try to constantly remodel herself to fit Hollywood’s current skinny-skinny fashion.
In the fairytale film, Christina plays a girl that is cursed to have a pig’s nose but Penelope character doesn’t let it get her down.
Christina revealed recently: “Everyone has some point in their life when they were extremely self-loathing and I was a fat 15-year-old and I didn’t want to leave the house and I covered myself up all the time.”
“Penelope taught me to be less so. I looked at how she dealt with it, her strength and ability to find joy in the world even though everyone was telling her it was a limitation.”
“Penelope didn’t allow it to be a limitation. She didn’t let it stop her from living her life.”
