  • Ashlee Simpson’s West End debut in Chicago has been brought forward because the show’s producers are so impressed with her rehearsals. Ashlee was originally scheduled to take to the stage as Roxie Hart in October but she’ll now join the cast for six weeks from 25th September.
  • Jamelia has banned her fiance Darren Byfield from watching US singer Rihanna because she’s jealous: “She’s a great artist and I really liked what she did with the ‘Tainted Love’ sample on SOS, but Darren’s not allowed to watch her - she’s too pretty!”
  • Jade Goody is gathering a strange collection of fans - first, Kate Moss and now actress Julianne Moore. Julianne told Jonathan Ross recently: “My favourite [reality tv star] is Jade Goody. I like her face. I like reading and knowing about her.”
