Elton John: George Michael and I are friends again
Elton John has revealed he has ended his two year long argument with George Michael.
The feud began in 2004 when Elton called George “miserable” with “a deep-rooted unhappiness” that was causing him to “waste [his] talent” with the misery showing through in George’s music.
George hit back claiming the two had hardly spoken in about 10 years and that when they had, it hadn’t been about George’s private life so Elton was mere speculating from afar.
Earlier this year, George admitted Elton’s comments started him on a downward spiral, culminating in his series of arrests earlier this year and it seems that bringing it into the open has helped heal the rift.
Elton told Michael Parkinson: “George and I are fine. He came and stayed down my house. We’re fine.”
Elton also acknowledged George been photographed reportedly cottaging at Hampstead Heath earlier this year but didn’t want to talk about it: “I’d rather keep my mouth shut… It’s up to him what he does with his life and I don’t really want to get into that anymore.”
Do you think Katie Price's marriage to Alex Reid will last?
