Stella McCartney has been confined to “total bed rest” for the last two months of her pregnancy after being rushed to hospital complaining of adbominal pain and bleeding earlier this week.

The fashion designer was taken to the Worcestershire Royal Hospital on Monday evening and stayed overnight.

An inside source revealed: “her condition was viewed as serious by doctors.”

“Medics warned her she must now rest completely up until the birth. This means total bed rest.”

A spokesperson for Stella confirmed that the unborn baby, Stella’s second child with husband Alasdhair Willis, was ok but the consequences would have been “dire” if Stella had not received medical attention.
